Kickoff

Kickoff for Associations and Clubs
This is a kickoff for associations and clubs that want to truly build their team. Through challenges, camaraderie, and experiences in nature, the group comes together in a program that strengthens cohesion and fosters a clearer sense of “we.” At Hunneberg, an experience awaits where cooperation, responsibility, and trust aren’t just words—they’re something you’ll feel as the team faces challenges, grows, and grows closer. Here, physical activity, team challenges, overnight stays, and relaxation in nature are combined in a format that both tests and strengthens the group. It’s simple, intimate, and memorable, with experiences that linger long after the kickoff is over. You’ll stay in simple yet memorable accommodations in the Bäverhyddan teepee. The program can be tailored to the group’s age, skill level, and goals.
Examples of what a kickoff might look like
Kickoff with an Overnight Stay
Every group is unique, so the program is tailored to your preferences and circumstances. Here’s an example of what a Friday-to-Saturday kickoff might look like:
FRIDAY (for example)
Around 5:30 p.m. Arrival at Bergagården
The kickoff begins with a gathering, a welcome, and a brief overview of the weekend’s schedule, safety, responsibilities, and practical details.
The Great Hunneberg Adventure
Next up is The Great Hunneberg Adventure, a team competition in the woods featuring a treasure hunt and teamwork challenges where the team needs to think smart, communicate clearly, and solve problems together under pressure. This gives the coaches a golden opportunity to observe the players and see how they work together. It’s a good idea to divide the players into teams based on your knowledge of the group.
Shower and change of clothes
Evening meal
The group prepares their own dinner, for example, by having a barbecue together. It’s a natural opportunity to unwind, socialize, and recharge after the evening’s challenge.
Getting Ready for the Night at Bäverhyddan
Before nightfall, the sleeping areas are set up, and the
team prepares for the night together.
A Night at Bäverhyddan with a Team Fire Watch
Spending the night at Bäverhyddan is an important part of the experience. During the night, the team takes turns keeping the fire going according to a predetermined schedule—an activity that fosters responsibility, trust, and teamwork.
SATURDAY
Around 6:15 a.m. Wake-up call
Saturday begins early and marks a clear start to the day's shared challenges.
Intense workout with Robban
The morning continues with a physical training session that focuses on discipline, determination, and supporting one another as a team.
Breakfast, a shower and getting changed
Forest Bathing/Mental Training
Next up is a more relaxed session focused on mindfulness, concentration, recovery, and mental strength—an important contrast to the more physical activities.
Lecture: Setting Goals and Achieving Them
A lecture or group discussion on individual and shared goals, responsibility, discipline, and commitment.
Independent Session at Bäverhyddan (optional)
For groups that are interested, there’s the option to add a custom session at Bäverhyddan afterward. This gives leaders a great opportunity to bring the team together, discuss the experience, and capture the lessons, insights, and other takeaways the group wants to carry forward.
Around 1:00 PM Lunch at the restaurant (optional)
The kickoff can conclude with a group lunch at Uppegårdens vilt Kök & Rum for groups that wish to wrap up the weekend together.
